'' The Hero''

Our teacher told us to choose a part of the story "The Hero" an explain why we choose this part of the story.
"He looked at it for a long time and then at the earth under which Eduard Campbell,husband, hero, and military governor, lay. Then, in a burst of sudden gratitude, he knelt for  a momento, and closed his eyes. Below his knees lay not just a man, but a story"
I choose this part of the story  because the wife of Mr.Campbell was showing  the tumb of her husband to the man and telling him the story of what makes him a hero.
